We invite our membership to apply for the following annual awards.  The deadline for the award applications are listed below. 

Betty Means Award

The purpose of the award is to recognize and reward innovative and high quality community health practice.  Application due March 1, 2010.

Clinical Practice Improvement Award-CPIA
The purpose of this award is to recognize nurses in clinical practice who have demonstrated innovative and high quality practice.  This award may be given to an individual or individual/community partner.  This partnership may include an individual and the partner (individual or agency) for joint recognition.  Awards may be given for projects or activities in process or completed.  Application Due March 1, 2010.

Research Award
The purpose of the research award is to support the advancement of nursing knowledge through the provision of seed grant money from the Research Fund.  Application due March 1, 2010.

Undergraduate Scholarship
At the Spring Induction Ceremony, Gamma Chapter presents these Recognition Awards to selected undergraduate students who have been or are being inducted into Sigma Theta Tau.  Scholarship criteria includes involvement in community/professional service activities as measured on the Application for Award form, professional potential, academic achievement, and financial need.  Application is due March 15, 2010.
