Follow-up on Dance Marathon Volunteering

Thanks to everyone who came out to join the STTI Gamma Volunteer Team at the 18th annual Dance Marathon on February 3, 2012.

Dance Marathon provides emotional and financial support for patients and their families treated at University of Iowa Children’s Hospital. The Gamma volunteers helped to check in all of the dancers bags from 4:00-7:30 on Friday evening. We were thrilled to have volunteers from the DNP, CNL, BSN and early admit programs! It was great to see how many people were dancing this year as well. In fact, Dance Marathon raised $1,369,147.18 for the kids! Gamma would also like to congratulate all of our members who danced for the whole 24 hours and those involved in leadership positions. You are all amazing and should be very proud of your accomplishments.
