Will you join the Gamma Chapter in supporting Dance Marathon?
Dance Marathon is an organization on campus that provides emotional and financial support for patients and their families treated at University of Iowa Children’s Hospital. Dancers raise money and dance for 24 hours straight during the big event, which is from 7pm on Friday, February 3rd to 7pm on Saturday, February 4th.
The Gamma Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International would like to get a team of volunteers together to help at the big event. The volunteer shifts are only 3 hours long. Our group would be helping with bag check, meals, and sustainability, and could even split into smaller groups for other tasks. It is a great way to support all of our fellow members, students, colleagues and friends that are involved in this great organization! They are low on volunteers for the very beginning and very end of the big event. If you are available around either of these times for a 3-hour shift, come join us and help make a difference!
Please email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) by 4pm on Monday, January 23rd if you are interested! She will then be in contact with the volunteer coordinator who will give us our exact shift times. We hope you can join us in volunteering for a great cause!
